Mission, vision 
and values of the Łódź of Diversity Coalition

​​Our mission is to build intercultural dialogue and support diversity and acceptance in society.

​​Our activities are aimed at:

• ​​intervening in cases of human rights violations, discrimination, hate speech and hate crimes;
• ​planning and implementing educational, cultural and preventive projects that strengthen attitudes of acceptance in society;
• b​uilding a platform for joint activities, exchange of experiences and good practices;
• ​improving the quality of public debate in the area of diversity in Poland;
• ​undertaking (self-)advocacy activities in the area of coalitions;
• ​strengthening the dialogue between people from minority groups and people representing uniformed services, offices and teaching staff through information and educational activities (meetings, workshops, training, conferences and others);
• ​building awareness of human rights and supporting activities aimed at ensuring safety and protection against discrimination;
• ​consultations in developing urban participatory policy.

We operate through:

• ​​regular coalition meetings, 
• ​exchange of experiences and good practices, 
• ​starting dialogue between different groups,  
• ​projects implemented as part of coalition activities.
